-----------Here we go-----------
Tsunah(Chilin) Foundation(慈林教育基金會) located in Gîlân Jīkiat (宜蘭二結), the founder and his wife later on are the activists for democracy-state building, he was a lawyer of the intellectuals and also the few elected members of the “local congress” without joining the corrupted totalitarian Chinese nationalist party in their “roC colonial system” (then we have “state congress” back then, which most of the members don’t have to be elected until their death so basically they just vote and pass whatever the dictators and its fellows want them to do in exchange for the benefit they want and most of them are close to their death bed when it was finally abolished through the struggle and the sacrifice of the people for the democracy and freedom) but eventually he got arrest and the charge (rebel) for freedom may be death in their corrupted colonial system with other reform-activists for the 1979 World Human Rights Day’s peaceful protest (the protest we called 1979 Bílētó — 美麗島, which laid down the foundation of the Democratic Progressive Party, with a cross in the center with Taiwan, for the future of Taiwan and its democratic-state building.)
Later the twin of his daughters and his mother got stabbed to death in their home on the day we later called “228 Peace Memorial Day” or more precisely, “228 Massacre and Resistance Memorial Day” while he was jailed, and his home was one of the high surveillance places back then by the corrupted totalitarian regime in order to collect any intelligence which could be used to against the activists in their system with their rules, but even that the murderer is still on the run without any culprit arrested, charges filed, even today.
But he is still working peacefully on the path of democratic state building, later the foundation was founded with the help of Taiwanese figures and it’s the place for peaceful volunteers to join and work toward a better future for our society, with lectures, educational camps/training for the young and adults, concerts, exhibitions, plays, movie conferences and so on to educate and advocate for our democratic-state building and values.

Mr.Clean Education Foundation (Tân Tēnglâm — 陳定南教育基金會) located in Gîlân Samseng(宜蘭三星), the memorial character of the foundation was studied law, worked as a business person and later devote his life for the democratic-state building, he was also the first county governor winning the election in the support of “ Tónggōa 黨外 — without joining the party of Chinese nationalist League” and the party to not join is behind the power of the corrupted totalitarian regime, but he passed away unexpectedly in his mid-age due to cancer.
There were lots of new things he did with the governor team, the new huge parks that fit the needs of the people with a brand new design than the others back then, to take/slow down the corrupted totalitarian regime dictators’s psychopath behaviors and influence, such as the photos, the statues built with public tax which they placed in almost every public space, to stop the mentally non-sense such as playing and singing the Chinese party’s anthem aka the anthem of the colonial regime before every movies play in the theater, so did he plan, checking, reviewing all of the progress in person, tracing/investigating the progress of public facilities seriously but without leaving building or bridge with his name on it (yes, in the past they did and some of them still leave their names physically even it was built with public tax!) in order to reform the corrupted system which laid down the foundation for our democratic-state building… the museum will tell you more about his and our struggle for a better future. mr-clean.org.tw
The War and Peace Memorial Park is the memorial museum located in Táⁿkáu-Kohiông Kîtin(打狗-高雄旗津), it’s the museum for the tragic course of our Taiwan history and we must learn from the past, the museum is for the hundreds of thousands of Taiwanese who suffered despite their gender, who ever enlisted on the service of Japanese soldier (drafted), the corrupted Chinese soldier (tricked) and the communist Chinese soldier (captured) to fight the wars that benefits nothing for them and the society of our world, and to the tens of thousands of people who lost/survived in the tragedy without proper compensation for tens of years after WW2 unlike other former Japanese soldiers(Korean including) / Chinese soldiers because of the totalitarian roC regime step in the middle without facing the truth that Taiwanese is not Chinsese and it only resolved by the civilians, democratic-state building member’s effort who working on this issue and in the end of the day they still got worse compensation, recognization than the other former Japanese / Chinese soldiers, this museum was hugely push to exist by the effort of the veteran Khó͘ Chiauêng-許昭榮 who also was the activist / one of the tens to hundreds of thousands of Chinsese prosecuted political prisoners, self-immolation for the efforts he made and left with his final wish.
We’re still trying to get this part of history into our national common sense instead of the part of their Chinese civil war, WW2 that features the poor or the corrupted Chinese only, actually that is the job of the China government but not us Taiwanese.
The 228 Resistance of 27 Brigade (and so on 228 resistance of the other places and people) Memorial which located in Tâitiong(台中), when the word 228 is mentioned, most of us will have the impression stays on the indiscriminate massacre of the Taiwanese intellectuals and citizens, or to the worst part, see it as a holiday day without knowing why and even make fun of it as a way to promote sales just like one of the holidays and festivals, but there were resistance back then although they didn’t make a course of the change and most of them became the political prisoners of the Chinese prosecuted but nothing they did were in vain and we must keep telling the story of the resistance for the justice, for our democratic-state building, freedom will lose if we out of our caution and left with no one to take care on them.
